Rafik KHEDDAM obtained his engineering degree (in"Advanced Information Systems and Software Engineering") in 2009 from Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou in Algeria, then a Master degree in "Software Safety and Security" in 2010 from Faculty of Science and Technology of Besançon, France. In 2014, he obtained a Doctorate degree in computer science from Grenoble Doctoral School.
PhD thesis: "Dependability Software Approaches for RFID Systems"
The LCIS laboratory, through the CTSYS team work, looks at the dependability issues of RFID systems. This work is part of the ANR SAFERFID project since October 2010. The SAFERFID project is intended to improve the dependability of RFID systems. The main objective of this project is a proposition of a set of fault-tolerance mechanisms at both hardware and software levels of these systems. My contribution to this research project under the supervision of Ioannis Parissis and Oum-El-Kheir Aktouf relates to developing a RFID middleware solution integrating online testing and diagnosis facilities to make the whole RFID system more robust and reliable.
The developed RFID middleware "SafeRFID-MW" is LLRP compliant. It is depeloped in Java language and a prototype of this middleware can be downloaded here :
